Oregon to again require masks in all public places
This just in from KGW News- Oregon Governor Kate Brown is going to announce that masks are required for everyone, vaccinated or not, in all public places. No word on whether we’ll be closing certain industries like restaurants and theaters again but I hope not.
The reasons are simple: the COVID-19 Delta variant is starting to tear through the state and if we don’t slow it down, our hospitals will get overrun and more people will die. While we love our friends and family in Texas and Florida, we absolutely don’t want Delta to run amok here like it has there.
Costco follows the basic rules of the state they are in, so expect to wear one when shopping.
Since Tigard Eyecare is a health care practice, we have always had stricter guidelines and there is no change for us. Masks are still required for an exam as well as a brief health check at the door before you come inside.
