  • Stem cell Treatment for Macular Degeneration

    18 Patients were treated with Human Embryonic Stem Cell injections directly to their eyes.   9 patients suffered from Stargardt’s macular dystrophy and 9 from dry atrophic age-related macular degeneration.  Of the 18 subjects,  10 patients had some sight restored after the stem cell injection to their eyes.  No word in the article of which protocol saw […]
